Have a young dog that is still growing? To figure out what size might be best for your growing pup, hold the tape measure around your dog's chest at the max measure for that size they fit currently. For example if they currently fit in a size Small (56-69cm), hold the tape measure at 69cm. This will show you how much 'growth room' that size harness has and also how much the next size up will tighten to.

Two leash attachment points(back clip or front clip) - A strong aluminum V-ring centered on the back that's great for everyday walks. And a reinforced webbing attachment point on the chest that can be used for training by redirecting dogs that pull.
Four adjustment points - so the harness securely fits most shapes and sizes.
Reflective trim - means that your dog will be more visible in low light conditions and a light loop to attach The Beaconlight to boost visibility.
Light foam paddingfor comfort - on the chest and belly make it more comfortable for your dog to wear for long periods and helps minimise the chance of rubbing.
Easy to put on/take off - just slip the harness over your dog's head, then clip the 2 side buckles
ID Pocket - to store dog tags

Training your dog not to pull? Here's how the Front Range Harness can help!
The Front Range Harness has a reinforced webbing lead attachment point on the chest that can be used alongside proper training techniques (e.g., voice and reward training techniques) to help deter pulling. The idea behind this is that if a dog pulls too hard when the lead is attached to the chest, it will pull them around towards you (like reins on a horse). Hence, your dog may learn that pulling does not get them where they want to be. Ruffwear have a great article that goes into this in further detail - Exploring Politely On-Leash

Care
Secure the fasteners and hand wash with mild detergent. Lie flat and air dry.
Purchased two for our girls, both tend to pull excitedly and walking together wasn’t always fun. Option for front works a treat for both girls. Our Lab needs the front which calms her. Our bully x tends to pull constantly, first walk in this was great, loose lead. Size M fits well. Have used balance harness prior and girls seem more comfortable with Ruffwear.
Gyda is a part-bred Scottish Deer Hound and loves her Ruffwear harness. Very functional, easy to fit and remove, doesn't chaff the dog and easily cleaned. After three years and many km's our first harness has started to show some signs of wear. We now have a new harness on standby. Great products.

I had been struggling to find a good comfortable harness for my Jack Russell that wasn't just a big dog harness with shorter straps. Finally I found the Ruffwear Hi & Light (xxs) and it's perfect. Everything has been considered - and it's structurally designed appropriately for the recommended dog size. It's light, adjustable, strong yet not bulky, nice colour and we'll manufactured. In my humble opinion, it's the best harness on the market for a small dog.
